A little Riddle for you?

Once, a Policeman wa standing next to a tall building, when he suddenly heard this:
"Please Richard, Don't kill me, Please don't!!"
This frightened voice was coming from the top of the building. He immediately rushed upstairs to the source.
On reaching there, he saw a dead body and five people standing close under equally suspicious conditions. However, as soon as he saw this scene, he immediately realised who the culprit was.
How?

But how does the officer know which one of the five is Richard? Duh yourself.
