A litte help please... does anyone remember...

Does anyone remember a film about a young girl lost in the Australian Outback ?

If I remember correctly the girl was animated with real footage for any animals, except one, which I believe was some kind of Australian Yeti ?

I think there was a second film with the same girl, _?_?_?_ and the Joey ? Again animated with real footage of any animal except the Joey.

I've asked just about everyone I know and while most have said I'm mad, the few who think they remember it can't remember a name. So far IMDB has also drawn a blank...

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Dot and the Kangaroo! I LOVED that film. That's the first film, where Dot meets the kangaroo when she gets lost. The Kangaroo has lost her joey. There was at least one other film I remember seeing where Dot goes on an adventure all over Australia, but no idea what that one was called.

That's going on my Christmas list!
