...cars averages 26 or more mpg? I am trying to figure out how to calculate probability that the mean of a random sample, which is taken out of a normally distributed data set, will have a mean greater than a given value. I was given the sample size (30), Standard Deviation (7), and the mean of the normal curve (25). I am trying to figure out the probability that the mean of the sample set will equal 26 or more. The solution is fine, but instructions or work is better. I use a TI 89 if you want to give me functions to enter. Any help would be appreciated.
