Hi :)

First things first, I really, really wouldn't recommend you take maths, especially if you are a grade C level. Not that this is bad, because it certainly isn't - Math's is hard! But A level Maths is a whole different board game. Many friends took Maths at A level because they got a A*-B at GCSE and believed it was important, but to say they struggled is an understatement. At the end of their first year, many came out with a grade E or U. Believe me, it is incredibly difficult. I would advice against it.

I did BS for A Level and Economics for GCSE. I really enjoyed BS and got an A in it overall, it is fairly easy, if you understand. However, assuming you enjoy Maths, Economics is far more statistical and would involve a lot more Maths, so my advice to you would be re-think Maths A level and do Economics, then you have a combo of BS and Maths in one.

I would also advise you wait until after your GCSE results to choose your A-Level options as they may suprise you!

If you need any advice on the units, coursework etc. of BS, i'd be glad to help!
