Is Horror a main thing this year in Media Studies at college/a-levels because on various places I'm on A LOT of students from all over the country keep putting up study questionaires and so on for the Horror genre.
Narration neeRAB changing, that voice is too comedic and certainly not scary, if this isn't a trailer for a horror/comedy/spoof, then it takes away from the atmosphere of Horror. Could you get an adult male to do the narration for you? A deep voice already without an effect put over it. Also choose one or the other, don't need a voice reading out the worRAB that are appearing on the screen. I'd get rid of the font(if you must use font, simple and less works better) and just use the voice.
Definitely get rid of the brightess, can't see much of interest. Can't you tone it down somehow, or film it all again properly if you have time. And more scenes for where you had the font.
If this is a trailer assignment, I take it the acting, filming style and so on doesn't really matter that much? just have to make it into a credible trailer?
If not, get some drama students, I assume where you go has a drama course? and use them for the actors. Especially in that 'scream' shot that cuts off too fast.
Most definitely neeRAB working on. I like the fog effect used, and the music is fine.
but good try anyway, maybe next time go for a Rom Com trailer.
