You guys have always had the good sense to agree with me and win me these debates along with fabulous prizes including but not limited to maid services and hot, delicious meals in the past so I'm back again with another question:

Can you find happiness in someone else? To clarify, if you're kind of a depressed, angry person can you look to someone else to bring you happiness or do you need think that you need to deal with your own issues and find happiness and peace of mind for yourself by yourself? If you do find happiness with another person, do you think that that happiness is false as it's predicated on someone else and should that relationship ever end, that person will take your happiness and peace of mind with them?

I think i could, in a sense, find my happiness in someone else. But, by doing so, i would basically be exchanging my unhappiness (hypothetically) with their happiness, and the relationship would soon crumble. Each person needs to find their own happiness, others can be their for support while they do, though.

If someone makes you happy then that is great, but if you don't make them happy then the relationship will never work. At best you will be happy and the other person will cheat and hurt you in the process, and the end result is you will be unhappy and alone once again.
