PLEASE DON"T LOOK THIS UP!

a couple are driving down a dark road in the middle of the night. the car breaks down, the man decides to find a gas station. he tells the woman not to leave the car, and the car is IMPOSSIBLE TO BREAK INTO! when the man returns the wife is dead and their is a stranger in the car who didn't break in, and wasn't hiding in the car.
How did this happen?

or maybe there was a hot guy and she opened the door and he raped and killed her and he was waiting for the guy to come back with the keys so he could drive away! lol idk
