Toyota Highlander, Honda CR-V, Ford Escape, Mazda Tribune, Nissan Murano, and the Toyota Rav-4.

The murano and the highlander are the most expensive out of the bunch because their newer models, but they're also the sportiest and the most stylish.

the Escape/Tribune are essentially the same car, and because of bad resale value, you should be able to find a pretty good deal on either of thm.

I really recommend a hatchback over an SUV as a first car. It offers SUV versaility, but it's easier to drive and gets better MPG:
check out:
Toyota Matrix/Pontiac Vibe
Mazda 3 hatch
VW Rabbit

good luck!

Im a 16 year old Boy and want an SUV for my first car (I don't like jeeps at all). Iv looked in a dodge durango but iv heard those aren't the best even as a v6.
What about a 2 Door blazer

I would never recommend an suv for a teen at all. They are difficult to learn with, and too many kids get killed in them, because of the rollover risk from driving too erratically. If you must, though, get a car-based suv. Good examples include the Toyota rav4, the honda crv, any subaru, or a ford escape. Good luck.
