I'm moving, and we have to get rid of our dogs. My mom offered fish as an alternative pet. I love fishies, but I'm not sure what fish is cheap, but lives long, and can have a brother fish (like another fish to swim around with). So, not a beta. Those are cute, but we've had some before and my mom killed them whenever she tried to clean it's tank. And not a goldfish, no matter how pretty and friendly, I've had those all my life.
