A good astronomy book to read?

i"m a senior in hight school and im really interested in astronomy.but there's a problem. i barely know anything about astronomy. so if anyone could tell me a good book to read that could get me started in learning this subject it would be a lot of help. also i'm trying to get as many books as i can to read them all so i can learn about this. thanks a lot
 
I bought a book a while back simply called "Universe". The photographs are amazing and there's tons of information starting with our solar system and working outward. It was like 60 bucks, but it was worth every penny.
