...about it though.? A friend of ours is pregnant, and would really like us to adopt her child. (To us, this is a delight.)
I'm having difficult time finding the appropriate information for the state of Oregon.
All parties involved would like to keep this as simple as possible.
The baby will know who his/her biological mother and father are, but we will be the ones raising him/her.
Should we go for a full adoption?
Or would it be better to do power of attorney over the infant?
Or even, I think I read something about permanent guardianship?
Where could I find better/ more appropriate information? (Are there any websites or phone numbers you could pass our way?)
Does anyone else have experience in this type of situation?
