a flash of silver light coming from a table lamp?

i was sitting on my couch and saw a flash of silver light come from my table lamp and didn't know what it was.. could it have been something paranormal?
 
do you spend a lot of hours in front of a computer screen of any kind? do you wear glasses? were you in the dark and looked toward the lamp directly prior to seing that flash of light?
 
1.It could of been that someone in or around your home was using heavy equipment ...drawing on the electricity causing the lights to flicker.
2. or, an act of God....for instance, one time I was about to tell someone that I didn't like him and I noticed a flash of light from the bathroom light fixture... and at that moment I realized I was not to say this to this particular person."
