Right,i did have 7 fish in my tank, and ive had them for quite a while now and nothings been wrong,
but recently ive noticed that theres loads of little white spots on some of the fishe's fins and body, but now its spread over most of their body..and i know this is white spot,so ive gone out and brought the treatment and used some, but its not just that, some of the other fish have fin rot i think..because all their fins are all tatted up but none of my fish are nippy they all get on and they dont even have teeth! their fancy goldfish, the only other creature i have in this tank is a salamander but they dont have teeth either it just stays away from my fish all the time..but some of my other fish that dont seem to be effected are just lying on the bottom and not moving and their lying in the same place up against the glass behind an ornament in my tank, ive already lost 2,they died this morning, but i dont know what to do ..? i love these fish! x

Test for ammonia and nitrite.
If they are present, do water changes (maybe 10 - 20% per day) until the levels go down.

For 7 fancy goldfish (excluding that salamander/newt which should be in a species tank, not with fish) you'd need at least a 70-75 US gallon overfiltered tank. If you have less than this, the route of your problems is water quality.

7 Goldfish produce a HUGE amount of waste, which only increases as they grow. This is enough to overwhelm an average filter, cause an ammonia spike, which stresses the fish, lowers their immune system and allows parasites like ich to reproduce and causes fin rot.

Test your water, increase water maintenance and plan a tank upgrade.
