A few things to say about the Dunlop Q2s

Nice Pitch

All you said about the original Q's is true.. But I mean the originals made in France or U.K The quality of the U.S made Q's was a tremendous leap backwards..

If the new Q2 is made in Europe, I can't wait to try them.. If they're made in the U.S.... Sorry Charlie, once bitten twice shy..

I just don't see alot of people talking about the Dunlops, and I really couldn't understand why? I got great milage out of them, and the price was good, and the grip was great... just trying to see if people just don't know how good they are or if they had issues with them that I didn't experience..

Yep.. Just one of the issues with U.S Mfg. But you pick up a Made In France or Made In G.B It's a whole different tire.. Hell even the coloration is different..

I'm running on original Qs now, first thing I noticed, heavier than the Pirelli. Next came the turn-in, back to neutral, the Qs require more initial effort to go off center, and stand back up. Once leaned over they hold the lean quite well and tend to want to stay there, where the Pirelli wanted to wander much easier. Just my pence worth.

pirelli has a super flexible (soft) carcas which gives a squishy feel some like it other hate it, and if the pirelli is too spendy for you go with the metzler race tec same production factory "suposedly" as pirelli just a different tread pattern...
