A few questions on the LG chocolate touch?

HEY I need someones help on a few questions i had concerning the lg chocolate touch.
So I've been in need of a new phone for a while, I've never had a touch screen before and I felt like trying it out. Basically, all I want, is a good phone, easy texting, good sounding phone calls, good reception, and easy use.

And I was wondering if anyone has this phone and would recommend it to someone who uses just a normal phone.
