A few questions about the Iphone 4 (for verizon)?

1. Is the iphone 4 worth the money? is better than the droids in your opinion?
*note this is NOT my first smart phone. I own a LG ally, and I cant stand it.

2. This might sound dumb but will my apps be able to transfer to my iphone? Im guessing not but ill just put it out there.

3. Any warnings or things I should know before buying the iphone 4?
