A few questions about the creationism/evolution debate?

1. Would people have an easier time accepting the theory of evolution if some of their religious beliefs did not contradict it?

2. If creationists were not trying to have ID taught in schools, then would it really matter that some people are ignorant about the fact that evolution is true?

3. Why do creationists hate the idea of humans being related to other animals so much?

4. Do creationists/IDers believe that since most species were made pretty much as they appear now, that they cannot become very different in the distant future?

5. What is the whole point to Intelligent Design?

Intelligent design means that there was a Creator, someone who was overseeing creation, rather than random acts of chance. This Creator concept is following the Bible. I'm in favor of the Big Bang theory -- I'm Christian, and I believe God spoke and Bang - creation happened. I know evolution can't explain the beauty of the earth. Evolution would be like trying to make a project in a dark room. You may eventually make the project, but it wouldn't be beautiful, as you would have no concept of beauty without an eye for beauty. Only a Creator with an eye for beauty could make the earth's natural beauty, like the parks in the world, the animals, flowers, sunsets, butterflies, rainbows, peacocks, etc. Faith in God is a gift from God. You can pray for faith in God. Just speak out and ask God for the faith to believe in Him and to follow Him. Some people find faith in God when they realize the beauty in the world is made by God. Evolution can't explain it.
We need to know God in this world to get to heaven in the next world. Jesus Christ, God's Son, is our bridge to God. Jesus died on the cross to cancel our sins. We need to accept Jesus into our life as our Lord and Savior forever to receive God's blessing and forgiveness plus go to heaven to be with God forever after we die. This is about being a born-again Christian. After you have your faith on, you can pray a sinner's prayer to be a born-again Christian. This prayer is very important and should be said with a sincere heart and faith in God. This is the prayer: "Dear God, I know that I am a sinner and that Jesus Christ is the sacrifice for our sins. I have done the following sins (state these out) and I pray to discontinue these sins. I pray to receive Jesus Christ into my life as my Lord and Savior forever. In Jesus' name, amen." You could find a Christian church and try it out. I'm Lutheran and I like the Baptist churches too. Some churches have a weekly Bible study group and these are a fun way to find out more about God and His will for your life. God bless.

.1. I did believ ein evolution as a mormon, it went along with mormonism, but then I got saved and found creationism, and it just made more sence...creationism and christianity.
2. Liek I said bnefore, I was brainwashed into evolution, but once I found creationism, I let go of evolution, it just does not make sence to me.
3. because, animals do nto have a soul, that is the differance between them and us.
4. I believe animals evolve, we humans do not.
