I have more than question so I decided to combine them here.
1.) How, exactly, do you go about searching and applying for scholarships? And when should you start? I'm a high school junior right now (I actually start school in August) and I want to start applying for scholarships and financial aid as soon as I'm able. Deadlines and all, you know. I'm going to have to rely on them to pay for college.
2.) How do you work the FAFSA site? And what exactly does FAFSA do?

Sorry for how dumb the questions must sound! Since no one in my family has ever been to college, I don't have any prior experience with these things and my school friends aren't much help, either...
