A few questions about A.C.T's. 10 points to most helpful person?

I graduated last year and I decided to take a year off. (I was homeschooled all through high school) Now I want to take my A.C.T's to get into college. When is the last month you can take them? Where do you usually take them? And what is on the test and what study books would I need?
