A few days ago my 2004 Toyota Tacoma died. I would turn the key and the lights would com on then i would turn it to the start position and it would click then nothing. Absolute silence. I took the battery out and had it tested and it was bad, so i replaced it. With the new battery the truck fired right up, I thought i was in the clear. Today, I go out to start my truck, lights come on and everything but when i turn the key to the start position it tries to turn over makes the normal rr-rrr-rr sound then nothing. Could this be the started or the alternator? Any suggestions?
