I'm not quite sure I understand how to solve the below problems. I know there are formulas that correspond to each problem but I'm confused as to how to set it up correctly. Any help?
1) 22.4 liters of a gas at a constant temperature of 0 oC and a pressure of 1 atmosphere is compressed to a volume of 6.2 liters.. What is the new pressure of the gas?
2) 10 liters of a gas at a temperature of 25 oC and a pressure of 740 mm Hg has its volume reduced to 4.0 liters and its pressure rises to 3.2 atmospheres. What is the new temperature of the gas?
The last one has to do with atomic weight. Any pointers?
1) An element has two naturally occurring isotopes with the percentage abundances being 69.09 and 30.91. The atomic masses are 62.9298 amu and 64.9278 amu respectively. The atomic weight of this element is...??
Thanks for the help!
