A Ducati with working mirrors

I took the DB7 down to the local Ducati dealer today for its first service.

I popped out from work already resigned to taking a taxi back, and then out again in the afternoon.

Surprise No. 1
"Hey Ross, how are things, do you want a loaner while we're doing this?"

Cool, no worries, thats $40 saved in taxi fares.

"Take the 696 Monster, its only done 1800k, I'll just fill it up for you."

Surprise No. 2
The mirrors actually worked!
Bugger me if I couldn't see things BEHIND me.
No waving elbows around or bobbing the head, I just sat there and they WORKED!

Just goes to show them Italians can make a bike with working mirrors, granted not the most stylish but they sure worked.
 
Good for you. But I could not see shit out of the one I tested last week. My 998 and 1098 I could see around my body, and under my elbows. The 696 all I could see was the ditches.
One size does not fit all.
 
sure sure, just keep telin yaself that... yu fort that no wun was wuchin and snuk off to hav a ride on a munstr....
