My co-workers and I have been discussing a cross country roadtrip for a while. I think perhaps our excitement is overloading the practicality of it though. What we were planning was a roadtrip with 4 motorcycles. The problem is, we all have supersport bikes...no real luggage hooks...also riding for long distance, isn't that comfortable, so doing 6 hours a day is probably the max. So basically, whatever we carry will have to fit in a backpack. We're all basically excited at the prospect of stopping at random places.
So is is feasible, and would it be fun to do a cross country motorcycle roadtrip with supersport bikes, carryiing only what we need on our backpacks?
