A couple questions about Unemployment Benefits?

I'm a full time college student and I was recently laid off from my job and I need to know if being enrolled in college full time disqualifies me from receiving benefits. I've seen some people say yes and others say no so I need a definitive answer.

And I also need to know what the chances are of me being caught if I lied and told them that I wasn't a full time student.
