magnification for the following? object distances, using the correct sign conventions. Select all options that correctly describe the image. If the image is located at infinity, enter "infinity" for the image distance and for the magnification, and select "no image is formed".
(a) object distance = 39.7 cm
image distance = 37.18 cm
magnification = -.9365
I found the image distance and magnification. what i cant find is wether its real and inverted or virtual or what? The choices are
1. side of lens opposite the object
2. real
3. virtual
4. no image formed
5. inverted
6. same side of lens as the object
7. upright
Also, it could be more than one answer (i.e. "real" and "virtual" or just "real")
the answers ive tried are
real and inverted
virtual and upright
virtual and inverted
real

and none of them worked.

here is another one too that i couldnt get
(c) object distance = 10.9 cm
image distance = -25.21
magnification = 2.31
ive tried:
inverted and real
upright and real
upright and virtual
inverted and virtual

none of them worked.
