A city commission had proposed two tax bills. The first bill requires that a homeowner will pay $2600 plus 2% of assest home value in taxes. The second bills requires $800 plus 10% of asseset home value. What price range would make the first bill a better deal for the homeowner

x = price
so the inequality you need is
2600 + 0.02x < 800 + 0.10x
-2600 - 0.10x -2600 - 0.10x
-------------------------------
-0.08x < -1800

divide both sides by -0.08 and remember to switch the inequality since you divided it by a negative
