I think I enjoyed this movie more than I should have. It was really predictable, cheesy, lame, cliche, and contrived. I could go on. But, it had heart. The acting wasn't as horrible as I thought it'd be, Hilary was actually half-decent. The best part, for me, was Carter. I've always loved Dan Byrd to bits and Carter's multiple personas were great.
I have a few bones to pick though. Is Austin (and everyone else) really that dense? They couldn't even recognize Sam when her 'disguise' was a mask that didn't even cover her whole face. Or her voice or her hair or whatever. I know it's Hollywood where magic happens but it was kind of silly. Also, diner girl? Wow, such a creative and insulting nickname.
Yeah, I'm done. So all in all, sucky movie but I kind of liked it. Still, Sam should have chosen Carter because he.is.awesome.
