the tangential speed of the bicycle is 2.0 m/s. The combined mass of the bicycle and the child is 43 kg. What is the magnitude of the bicycle's centripetal acceleration?
A. 1.0 m/s^2
B. 2.0 m/s^2
C. 4.0 m/s^2
D. 8.0 m/s^2

2. What is the magnitude of the centripetal force on the bicycle?
A. 4.0 N
B. 43 N
C. 86 N
D. 3.7 N

3. What kind of force provides the centripetal force on the bicycle?
A. gravitational force
B. friction
C. air resistance
D. normal force

1. b-2.0 m/s^2...a=v^2/r

2. fc=mv^2/r, (43)(2.0^2)/2.0=86 n

3. normal force, i think. might wanna check up on that..its not friction nor air resistance for sure, and i dont think its gravitational
