when you put some lipid on a piece of paper, the paper becomes transparent. i have no flipping idea why. all i know from my biology book is that it has something to do with the fact that paper contains cellulose, and maybe that cellulose is polar and lipids are nonpoler, but idk. i'm so confused. also i know cellulose has beta linkages, and that enzymes can't hydrolyze beta linkages,but i can't see where that would tie into this
