A 600cc beginner bike?

Im not a beginner and do own a 600cc bike but i wouldn't have wanted to start out on these bikes. The only reason I am bring this up is because when beginners get on here to ask what bike they should start out on people say the 600 is the way to go. Not everyone agrees with that but it seems to be that a lot of people do. Some say the 250, which i think is to small unless you are a very small person but a 600cc? Most go 160-170 and people say they are underpowered. Yes you have to rev them somewhat but dint most people only use the street bike in town anyway? Or just on a regular highway? Most people with 1000cc bikes cant use half the power that's given to them by owning the bike. So all i am asking is why do people say its okay to start out on a super-sport when that is what only more experienced riders should use because a beginner wouldn't know what they were getting there-self into at those speeds.

If you keep the revvs low,a nd you aren't a TOTAL noob... a 600 is a fine beginner...

I usually reccomend the 250r, but my first sport bike was the 1100XX i have now (given i have been riding standards since i was 12 when i got my first kawi 550 LTD)
