!993 Ford Crown Victoria help?

On the 93 crown vic. 4.6 liter engine there is a hose on the back of the engine block. it is a black hose with orange inner tubbing. it comes out of the block and runs to the EGR valve. What is the name of the type of hose and how does it assemble back on to the block? Please help? Thanks
