!990 ford f-150 My heater is not working could it be the coil or thermostat?

I'm getting no heat could it be the heater coil or my thermostat.I have a 302 engine and it is not over heating.I can't afford to fix either How else can I defrost my windshield in cold and rainy weather?

check the heater hose may be disconnected

I would say it's not ur thermostat, if it was it would be over heating. My guess would be ur Heater Core. Check the passenger floor board and see if it's wet. Good luck...

that sounds like your thermostat, and it is about a 5 dollar fix. you can do it yourself, two bolts and a gasket. someone probably just removed the thermostat instead of buying a new one, which is ok in the summer but not in the winter. thats what it is.
