M Misty New member Jun 7, 2010 #1 I have a 99 Montana and it wont switch in 5th gear is it hard on the motor to have the rams go past normal but not into the red zone. When driving past 45 miles per hour the engine reeves. Is there anyway that it could be a sensor or something.
