Hi everyone. First off I did not connect every wire, I hooked up the power,ground,door locks,antenna and the siren. I did not connect the door trigger input. And also I am pretty sure that the car has no factory alarm, I know for a fact no keyless entry and no chip in the key. I just wanted to hook up the basics of the alarm and test it. Well it wont arm or disarm, the valet switch does nothing. It said something about the pink wire being hooked up to the ignitionto use the valet switch, but I know you can hook just the alarm up without the remote start. I have worked on cars for years and went to school to be an electrician, so Im no stranger to electronics and cars, but this thing has me stumped. I am guessing that there is some other wire that I need to hook up for the basics to work. Checked fuses, has power to the CPU not sure what else to do. If anyone knows the bare minium of stuff to hook up to test it please tell me. HELP.
