My 99 pontiac grand prix gt has been experiencing idle surges and will also stall occasionally when at a stop light. I recently replaced by spark plugs and wires, my air filter, and pvc valve. I also had my fuel system flushed about a week ago. This idle surge and stall problem began soon after I just about ran my gas tank dry about two weeks ago (had about 1.5 gallons of gas left in my tank when I finally got to the gas station). My wife thinks it might be my transmission, but I'm just not sure.
