My car has been sluggish for the last week when accelerating. I asked a mechanic friend who said he thought it was the air filter, fuel filter, or maybe some bad gas. I checked the air filter which looked fine and noticed the coolant was completely empty. I added new coolant and then I had driven about 4 miles on my way to work the next morning and the light came on. Could the new coolant cause this?
99 mazda protege check engine light came on after adding new coolant.?
