I've got a 1999 Jeep Wrangler and this morning driving to the University the stereo turned off, as well as all the gauges on my dash went down to 0 (my fuel gauge, MPH and RPM, oil, engine, all that nice important stuff). Started checking the fuse boxes and found a 10amp fuse blown so I went over to NAPA. Put a new fuse in, it sparked a little and blew. Asked the guy at NAPA and he said something about a wire not being grounded. I plan on taking it to a shop tomorrow after I figure out where the most honest shop is here, but I was hoping someone would have either experience with this problem or might know what I could do to fix it myself (I'm fairly decent with cars).
Does the TSB dash cluster failure have anything to do with the fuse that keeps blowing?
