My Jeep GC has had multiple speaker problems ever since I purchased it. Number 1, It sounds as if all sound is coming through the tweeters, there is only a very low rumble coming through the other door panel speakers. Anytime i try to add bass it sounds as if the tweeters will explode. I tried replacing the door speakers with Sony Xplod and found that it did not fix the problem and it appeared someone had already tried this as the speakers were not the stock infinity gold but JVC. If anyone has any idea what may be causing this problem I'd love an answer.
Number 2. Sometimes when the radio is playing, the drivers side speakers all shut off ( this happens randomly) and they usually do not play again until the vehicle has been shut off, could a possible overload be causing them to shut off?
I'd really appreciate any serious answer you could give me so I can fix these problems.
