99 jeep cherokee 4.0l 6 auto man. 4x4?

When the jeep is cold it starts fine. After it gets hot the jeep goes dead and will not start until the jeep is cold. What could it be.
The jeep just turn off when the jeep is hot. It turn over fine. There is no sensors. Could it be the fuel pump
 
not sure what you mean by goes dead.

if it's cranking real slow it could be a bad starter or a timing issue.

if it's cranking fine but won't start it might have a faulty ignition module, cam sensor or crank sensor depending on what it is equipped with
