I have 99 ford 350 crewcab diesel 7.3l. going down freeway redlines at 65MPH. wont shift into overdrive. took to dealer and they put on diagnosis and no codes came up. told me that I had a transmission problem. told me that I needed to drop trany to see if problem inside which was expensive. they also told me I can get new trany installed. I told them if it wasnt a trany problem who was going to pay for trany or work on old. they did more investigation and hooked up a manual trany shifter in place of the shifting modular and trany shifted fine. hook truck back up to diagnostic and still no codes. they told me that they would have to get fords feed back because they didnt know what to do at this point. Suggestions??
