I took my 99 ford expedition out for a drive when I noticed the oil pressure light came ON, it was real low on motor oil so, I parked my truck back after 5 blocks or so, it wasn't overheated for a log period of time and the light came on for just a second or two then went OFF.
I bought a couple of oil quarts, and add an oil additive to fill up to level the engine. (Although I never use any aditives this time I did).
after I drove the truck, it started to shake or missed when accelerating, without any particular pattern, some times does it when about 40mpg some times when driving slow, some times in the freeway etc., also once at a stop light shaked or stalled like if was going to die. A mechanic suggested it might be the IGNITION COILS, that went bad but that he needed the CHECK ENGINE light to come on to check for codes, same thing hasn't happened yet, but truck still running real rough, and no light to check for codes........ANY IDEAS only have 75K miles on my EXPY
THANKS....................
