I have a 99 Ford Contour Se. 2 months ago my battery died and I bought a new one two weeks ago. The car has only been driven 5 miles or so since the new battery. Now the battery is dead again. What is the deal? Any ideas. Something is obviously draining the battery. I personally don't think it's the alternator because it probably would have died while it was being driven. It died when it was sitting.
