just put a new motor in my 99 dodge durango 4X4 5.2 magnum. had to replace the starter and battery. now it wont hold a charge. i had the the alternator checked and it passed but the machine that tests them at autozone is full of shit. my old starter passed on the same machine but it was bad. replaced it and it fired right up. ive put 2 different alternators on it now and it still wont charge. i checked the grounds and hot leads and they all seem fine. since the battery is completely dead now should i try a trickle charge? i have no clue where to go from here. any advice is appreciated.
