'98 Pontiac Grand Prix won't start?

It drove fine over to my grandparent's today, but when I was leaving, it started for about 2 seconds, then just died. I tried to start again, and it did the same thing. Now it won't turn on at all, it just makes the chugging sound it's supposed to before it starts. My step-dad seems to think the battery is fine, the car just won't start. I have over half a tank of gas, had my oil changed two days ago, but they made me sign an oil waiver because they said I had almost no oil in the engine and they didn't want to be liable for any damage. Could this be the problem? Any other suggestions would help! thanks
 
It could be your fuel pump is malfunctioning already. Check also your fuel pump relay if its working fine. I think your engine is after you have a change oil. It might not damage your engine coz you have a given it attention. Hope this helps!
