98 Jeep Wrangler- Turn signal light not working?

My turn signal light doesnt come on with the rest of the lights on the Jeep. I assumed it just needed a new bulb so went down to Kragen and got the bulb put it in and it still doesnt come on. Electric issue? Or something small? Anybody have an idea what the problem could be..
 
Check to see if the emergency flashers come on, if they don't the problem may be the flasher unit located under the dash (usually near the fuse box) remove and replace. Since it sounds like only one don't work you may have to check the other bulb ( front or back?) on the side that don't work. If neither of these solve the problem then you may want to check the "blinker" switch out. I'm assuming you already checked the fuse.
