I just bought this car, The transmission fluid is very light brown, I'm guessing it's because it has 175,000KM on it, Google brings up Light Brown with no burnt smell is a very good sign, because the fluid is old, it just changed color cause of usual wear.
Now my Timing Belt has never been replaced, I'm at 175,000KM but I'm low on money, do you Think I can drive to 180,000KM without the belt snapping? I'll be able to replace it probably even sooner then that, as I don't do a lot of driving, but just seeing if you guys think that extra few thousand KM will do anything.
I don't have maintenance record, but My guess is the vehicle was well taken care of, rust proofed, no rust on the body, brand new catalytic converter etc..
