98 Honda accord auto gearbox?

My 98 Accord automatic gearbox has been playing up for 6 months already. Been checked up by 2 mechanics and got a gear box oil flush and stuff. However it didn't really solve the problem, and the gear change wasn't smooth at all. NOW, it's what happened just 10 minutes ago on the 70k road. The car felt like changing the gear itself from 2nd to 4th then 4th to 2nd constantly while i locked it on 'drive'. Just felt like a manual car keeps changing gears at a constant speed. It is definately not right. Can you please roughly tell me what's happening to it?? thanks
