ok so i bought this used ford taurus 98 se 3.0 single cam engine 4 months 7 days ago, and yesterday i was driving home when it just turned off and won't start back up so we began trouble shooting and we've come to the conclusion that the engine has seized. so we pulled off the serpentine belt and we put a breaker bar on the crank shaft and tried turning both ways and all we managed to turn is the bolt holding it in place the guy i bought it from says he never heard of a engine on these cars seizing now there has been no knocking or any other warning this was going to happen but i'm thinking it did when i try to start it i get one click and that is it i've gone through the haynes manual trouble shooting and none of the options were a problem and the dealership i bought this car from 4 months and 7 days ago don't seem to wanna help at all. so can anyone help give me some thoughts on if this is the problem or some suggestions of other things i can try as this is our only vehicle and bot my fiance and i work more then 12 miles from home. please help!!!
