98 dodge neon overheating?

i have not a clue in the world what and why it is doing it. I have a 98 dodge neon 103k miles, with a serious overheating condition. I have checked everywhere for leaks and not a single one has been found. I have the fan rigged on a switch to the battery that i run reguardless if its hot or cold because the automatic fan control mod failed i assume and its in the fender so i dont feel like tearing everything out to fix it. it seems the faster i go the hotter it gets. I was on the freeway today doing about 75 for about 15 miles and i almost overheated but when i slowed down the temp went back down to mid level. All fluids are up to par with enough water/coolant mix. it has been up in the mid 90s last few days and im just trying to find out what could be wrong. water pump is brand new, hoses are brand new
