my dakota seems to be moody when it comes to starting in cold temperatures now, i go to turn it over, and have lights and everything, just clicks when i fully turn the key to start it. only does it when it hits near 30 degrees outside, and doesn't do it all the time.
i pulled the starter today, took it down to the shop and had it tested 5 different times, and it passed with flying colors each time.
tested the voltage on battery, came out fine, tested the ground, it is fine...
i plan on testing the wiring that connects to the starter tomorrow before i put it back on to make sure that i am getting power in that area as well.
my father-in-law (who is very electrical & pretty car saavy) & i are thinking that the starter relay in the PDC is the culprit, wondering if i'm correct in my assumption?
any professional, well educated help is more than welcome and appreciated. =)
